This Disclaimer applies to your use of the CrawlHawk service (the "Service") operated by New Horizon Platforms Kft. (the "Operator", "we", "us"). This Disclaimer supplements, and does not replace, our Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
The information made available on the Service is provided for general informational and operational purposes only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep our own informational pages accurate and up to date, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability or completeness of any information on the Service.
2. No Professional Advice
Nothing on the Service constitutes legal, tax, financial, investment, regulatory or other professional advice. The Service and its outputs are not a substitute for professional advice. In particular, the Service does not provide legal advice on whether any given Crawl is authorised or lawful — this determination is yours to make, and you should consult appropriately qualified professionals where you are in doubt.
3. Crawl Results — No Warranty of Completeness or Accuracy
Crawl Results are generated by automated processes that depend on the behaviour of Target Websites. Crawl Results may be incomplete, partial, out-of-date, internally inconsistent or unrepresentative of the Target Website at any given moment. Status codes, link types and other metadata may be transient. URLs may be missed (for example, where they are not linked from crawled pages, where they are blocked by access controls, or where they require interactions the Service does not perform). The Service makes no representation that any Crawl will capture all relevant content of a Target Website.
4. AI Product Scraper — No Accuracy Guarantee
The AI Product Scraper uses automated language models to extract structured data from product pages. The accuracy, completeness and correctness of AI-extracted data depend heavily on the structure and availability of content on the Target page, on the consistency of the underlying language model, and on factors outside the Operator's control. AI-extracted output may contain mistakes, omissions, hallucinations or formatting errors. You should not rely on AI-extracted data without independent verification, particularly where the data is used for commercial decisions, pricing, regulatory compliance or any other consequential purpose.
5. Target Websites — Third Parties Outside Our Control
Target Websites are operated by third parties. The Operator does not control, vet, endorse, monitor or warrant Target Websites. Target Websites may:
- change their content, structure, terms or technical configuration at any time;
- block, throttle or reject requests from the Service or its infrastructure providers;
- contain inaccurate, outdated, misleading, illegal or harmful content;
- include personal data, copyrighted content or other content the use of which is restricted.
The Operator accepts no responsibility for the content, availability, lawfulness or behaviour of Target Websites.
6. Advanced and Protected Processing — No Bypass Guarantee
Where the Service offers advanced processing modes for JavaScript-rendered or anti-bot-protected websites, the success of such processing is not guaranteed. Such modes may consume additional Credits and may fail at any time. The availability of advanced processing is a technical capability for legitimate authorised use cases and is not a representation that any particular Target Website may lawfully be crawled in this manner.
7. User Responsibility
You choose the Target Websites you submit and the configuration of your Crawls. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your Crawls and your use of Crawl Results are lawful and authorised. Nothing on the Service or in our outputs is a representation that any particular Crawl is authorised by the Target Website operator or compliant with applicable law.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
The Service relies on independent third-party service providers, including (without limitation) Stripe (payment processing), Billingo Technologies Zrt. (electronic invoicing and NAV Online Számla reporting), RackForest and Hetzner (hosting and infrastructure), Sentry (error monitoring), Google (analytics), OpenAI (AI-assisted extraction), Zyte (advanced crawling infrastructure) and NETIM (domain registration). The Operator does not control, guarantee or assume responsibility for the services, availability, performance, security or business practices of these third-party providers. Each provider is independently responsible for the services it provides under its own terms and policies. The Operator's use of a given provider may change over time as set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. External Links
The Service may contain links to external websites or third-party services that are not operated or controlled by the Operator. The inclusion of such links does not imply endorsement. The Operator is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any external resources.
10. Translations
Where translations of these Terms or related documents are provided for convenience, the English version prevails in case of inconsistency, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
11. Limitation of Liability
Without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator and its directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, profits, business, goodwill, data or business interruption, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any reliance on any Crawl Results or other output of the Service. Full limitations are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
12. Use at Your Own Risk
Your use of the Service and your reliance on any Crawl Results or other output is entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to evaluate whether any output is accurate, complete and suitable for your purposes, and whether your use of it complies with applicable law and with the rights of third parties.
13. Changes
The Operator may update this Disclaimer at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
